Last year during #Teacherwellbeingchat on Twitter, we started discussing what we would be doing in the holidays. It turns out that a few of us teachers are planning to do some education related reading – so we thought it would be good to have a summer book club.
How it works
Choose an education related book to read. As well as books about pedagogy and schooling, you could choose books that assist your productivity, well being, leadership, teamwork etc.
Each Sunday at 9pm EDT (GMT +11) we'll meet on twitter using the #summerbookclub tag to discuss:
What you are reading and why you chose it?
What is the key message so far?
What inspires you?
What challenges you?
What will you bring from it into your workplace?
